Ivan Basso married wearing a special edition of Lotto sneakers
Our testimonial Ivan Basso got married on Saturday 28th January and for his special day he chose to wear a special edition of Lotto sneakers.
For its champion Lotto Sport Italia created a special edition of the Wayne model, one of the most representative shoes of the new Lotto Lifestyle collection, characterized by inserts of the same fabric as his wedding suit.
By choosing colours and details, Ivan actively took part in the development of this exclusive model, an expression of his personality and of his strong link to the world of sport. The upper, featuring a vintage style and brown tones, is made of suede and the tongue is enriched by a gold embroidery with the name of the newlyweds and the wedding date.
These unique and handicraft sneakers represent Lotto’s skillful know-how in design and manufacture which has also inspired the new Spring/Summer 2012 Lotto Lifestyle collection.
Both the Italian press and the social media followed Ivan Basso's wedding with great interest.
Twitter was the online channel through which Ivan's fans could follow the wedding and Lotto also participated in Ivan's special day with a series of tweets on the Lotto Twitter account that were also re-twitted by Ivan Basso on his own account.
